Whitney Ellis

Whitney Ellis is a highly skilled attorney with nearly a decade of experience in civil litigation and dispute resolution. Having previously been a member of the prestigious Smith, Thompson, Shaw, Colon, and Power, P.A. law firm in Tallahassee, Florida, Ellis opened the Orlando branch of the firm in 2021, before founding Simply Close Title in 2022 to meet the demand for attorney-led title services in the region.

Her new Orlando office, conveniently located near the Orlando Regional REALTORS® Association, is dedicated to providing expert counsel to clients in various real estate matters.

Ellis was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2013 and worked at a well-known Maitland, Florida, construction litigation law firm, representing multinational contractors for eight years. She then transitioned to focusing full-time on real estate matters, using her extensive knowledge and experience on behalf of her clients.

In addition to her legal practice, Ellis has also served on the Florida 4-H Foundation Board, demonstrating her commitment to giving back to the community.

Claudia Garrell brings her expertise to Simply Close Title as an accomplished escrow assistant. With a background spanning three years as a title company processor and as a legal assistant for attorneys practicing real estate and homeowners’ association law, Claudia’s experience shines. Previously, she contributed her skills to a prestigious real estate law firm in Naples, Florida.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Claudia is a licensed Florida state notary. Hailing from Cuba, she has recently made Orlando her new home. Claudia is enthusiastic about serving our valued clients and exploring the remarkable opportunities that the Orlando area offers.
